Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate all preconstruction planning activities, ensuring a smooth transition into the construction phase.
Prepare accurate, timely cost estimates for residential construction projects, with a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals within the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model to develop comprehensive project plans.
Review and analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and materials required, ensuring alignment with client’s vision and budget.
Conduct regular on-site visits and client meetings to assess project progress, ensure compliance with plans and specifications, and to maintain an open dialogue with clients about their needs and expectations.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of materials and services.
Provide regular reports on pre construction activities, project cost, and progress to the project team and management, ensuring transparency and collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Construction Work Management or related field.
3+ years of experience in preconstruction planning, estimating, and client interaction for residential construction projects.
Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience with JobTread, Buildertrend, Square Takeoff, & Xactimate is desired, but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear focus on providing an outstanding client experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, especially within the IPD model.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
