Summary of Position: The IT Manager is responsible for organization-wide systems, information, and resources. Provides leadership in planning and managing all computer related services, systems and database administration. Must have strong systems and network security knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Contributes general knowledge and skill in technology, equipment and processes. Systems include:
o Property Management System – Opera
o Windows Network – Microsoft Active Directory
o E-mail System – G Mail
o Telephone System – Avaya
Ensure technical best practices, policies and procedures are followed.
Plan, control and evaluate data security, operations and processing systems, including hardware platform.
Create & monitor an annual IT budget.
Coordinate, plan and evaluate computer related activities throughout the property.
Monitor all essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktop, software and hardware.
Investigate and diagnose various technology problems.
Work with and coordinate with other departments to provide support for workstations, laptops and mobile devices, in addition to commonly used applications.
Respond to support requests of owners/guests with regard to technology trouble shooting.
Responsible for repairs, installations and maintenance of property-based systems.
Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
Skills/Qualifications: 3+ years of IT Management experience and/ or a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Must have strong organizational and communication skills with an attention to detail.
Must be able to lift or move 25-50 lbs.
