If you have an interest in learning technologies such as OpenShift, Ansible, RH Linux, Security, and consulting, we want to hear from you. As part of the MSP team, you’ll contribute to the deployment and maintenance of new platforms and assist clients in resolving incidents.

What You Will Learn:

Deployment and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters on different distributions like OpenShift or EKS.
Deployment and administration of containers using different CRIs like Docker, ContainerD, or Podman.
Administration of Operating Systems (Primarily RHEL), including repository management, packages, storage, networking, etc.
Enterprise-scale task automation with Ansible.
Version control management using Git.
Application of agile methodologies with Kanban.
Management of information technology services using ITIL.
We offer continuous training on platforms and technologies like Openshift, Ansible, and Linux.

Position Overview:

Technical Support Engineer (Entry Level 1) with experience in building and troubleshooting enterprise-grade, cloud computing and container orchestration platforms.

As the first point of contact for technical issues and customer requirements, this position will be responsible for delivering technical solutions to ensure service availability and suggesting improvements.

Due to the critical nature of the infrastructure and network the team operate a day/night/weekend shift rotation to provide 24/7/365 support.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be working as part of a team that supports our customers via incident resolution, service requests and reporting under the direction and mentorship of senior staff. All processes are designed to improve the customer experience and, as such, you will be encouraged to help enhance all aspects of those processes for efficiency, correctness and value. Our successes are possible because the team believes in our mission and we take ownership of and learn from our mistakes. We are an Agile team and work together collaboratively, we use ITIL as a tool, not as a crutch.

The successful candidate will have the passion and motivation to learn and work with Kubernetes or OpenShift in a production environment. Exposure to management of the following will be beneficial: AWS, Azure, Ansible, RHEL.

There are multiple specializations within the team, but this role is primarily focused on OpenShift, AWS, Azure, and DevOps.

Containers: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Podman & Cri-o
Version Control: Git, ArgoCD
Tooling and Automation: Ansible, Python & Bash
Cloud: Azure & AWS
Monitoring/Logging: Loki, Prometheus & Grafana

Your daily life will involve:

· Incidents, Customer Escalations & Service Requests

· Regular training on Technologies we support and will support in the future.

· Monitoring cloud infrastructure and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and service improvements.

· Cluster updating and patching.

· Assisting in all aspects of Change Management

· Taking the lead and initiative on project work

· Improving documentation and processes

· Trend identification in daily checklist / reporting

· Helping us evolve with the industry

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
