A per-event basis. Leading a wedding or event at Villa Parker as a day-of coordinator.
Expected duties are as follows:
Meeting with clients (initial meeting after they book)
Communication with client throughout the planning process via email
Help coordinate client’s rental order
Lead a final walk through with clients and vendors
Email vendors and client final timeline, notes, and floorplan after walk through
Lead their one hour rehearsal
Function as lead coordinator and venue manager for the duration of the event from start to finish.
Duties include:
Opening up the venue, help set up the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception area according to the floorplan, manage the flow and timing of the ceremony and reception, act as a liason between wedding party, family members, and vendors, direct vendors on where to set up and make sure all commitments are fulfilled, Set up decor not handled by a specific vendor, line up and cue bride, groom, and wedding party for ceremony and grand enterance into reception, assist band or dj in cuing important events, ensure wedding day flows smoothly and all needs are met, pack up clients personal items at the end of the night, close down the venue, check out vendors, and make sure everything is clean and ready for the next days event fill out any necessary post event paper work
We highly encourage gratuity which could add on to the flat fee pay per event. You are also able to earn commission on selling decor related items. There are no minimum/ maximum events needing to be taken per month. Based on the guest count, we would provide you with an assistant.
