In this career, you are not just filling vacant positions. You are identifying and selecting the best and most skilled talent to care for the people who need them most, your patients. More than that, you also serve as a dedicated HR strategic leader staffing partner and provide consultation and talent insight to hiring leaders of assigned clinical and non-clinical departments throughout TMH.

Your Role:

Develops and implements recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies to generate a supply of qualified candidates to meet the staffing needs of the organization
Coordinates applicant screening, interview and hiring for professional and non-professional positions throughout TMH as needed
Excels at building trust-relationships with hiring leaders, colleagues, prospects, and candidates; built on your knowledge and expertise
Provides timely communication with and maintains the attention of your candidates and hiring leaders
Possesses ability to sell an opportunity in tight labor market
Coordinates and executes recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals who meet both immediate and projected future needs
Sources and attracts a pool of qualified and diverse candidates, matching those candidates to open positions through screening and assessment
Performs salary calculations, negotiates employment terms and conditions, and makes sound business decisions to protect internal equity
Uses market research data and brand awareness to understand valuable and evolving approaches to reach passive candidates, personalizing the candidate experience
Participates in and leads recruiting events and projects throughout the year, including travel and some evenings and/or weekends (15%-20%)

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business or related field.
HR may substitute directly related professional experience for required education on a 1:1 basis.

Required Experience:

One (1) or more years of professional experience working in healthcare recruitment, human resources, or other related field.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with high volume pipeline recruitment and/or grass roots sourcing strategy implementation in a healthcare setting
Excellent interpersonal and written skills, positive attitude, flexibility, creativity, innovative, and ability to promote Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare as a great place to live, work, and play!
Ability to effectively negotiate, communicate/present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
Experience and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Certification/License/Registry:

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the HR Certification Institute.
