Job Description
Siwek Construction is looking for motivated individuals for an entry-level position administering Inventory Management programs at construction job-sites. Role is full-time (40 hours/week Monday โ Friday). Sites mainly consist of commercial renovations. Project lengths vary from 2-6 months and successful performance will lead to subsequent opportunities. While helpful, no prior construction experience is necessary. Training and job-specific requirements will be provided upon hire.
Role Responsibilities:
Assist receiving clerk in delivery of construction related items to job-site.
Accurately verify and maintain POs delivered and quantities of items delivered therein.
Administer mid-project job-site audit of stored materials to accurately update inventory.
Participate in weekly receiving team meetings involving all job-sites via video conference.
Maintain job-site map of containers and stored materials.
Process pick-lists of equipment to be built as part of construction production schedule.
Update inventory levels to reflect inventory items moved in and out of Works in Progress (WIP)
Maintain regular coordination and documentation with Receiving Coordinator re: missing, short-shipped, and lost-on-site items so relevant trackers can be written.
Verify the physical on-site status of individual received items.
Required Attributes:
Knowledge of construction software beneficial, but not required (mainly Procore)
Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Exhibit accuracy with an attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Proficiency with MS Excel Required.
Proficiency with MS Word, Email Softwares, and PDF management tools preferred.
Experience:
No construction experience required, but beneficial
Job or professional experience managing physical inventories or warehousing of products extremely beneficial.
