Job Description

Greenbriar Nursing Center is looking for a QA nurse to join our team! The primary role of a QA nurse is to coordinate and oversee quality assurance and compliance functions within our community.

Our ideal candidate would possess:

Valid MS Nursing License (LPN or RN)
2 years of experience in Long-term Care and Skilled Nursing setting (required)
Understanding of Federal/State LTC regulations.

Responsibilities

Identifies opportunities for facility improvement through collection and analysis of data, observation of operations and consultation with leadership, staff, residents, and families.
Monitor compliance with current laws, process improvements, and implementation of clinical best practices.
Assist in setting goals and standards for community.
Organize and facilitate the quality committee and its meetings by guiding discussion around performance measures and prioritizing and developing quality efforts.
Coach staff, management, and practitioners on how to problem solve including how to analyze causes and contributing factors. Identify resources and tools to support improvement efforts.
Promote physical and emotional well-being of residents, ensuring coordination of quality care from pre-admission through discharge.
Coordinate quality care by collaborating with all interdisciplinary teams.
Coordinate with administration and department directors to ensure Quality Assurance Performance Improvement efforts are integrated into all operations and departments.
