Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. Your role will involve maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Job Responsibilities:

– Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
– Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues
– Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems in a timely manner
– Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
– Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity
– Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives
– Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
– Document all technical procedures and user guides

Essential Skills:

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of various IT systems and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

The following skills are required:

– Experience with firewall configuration and management
– Proficiency in providing technical support to end-users
– Knowledge of Linux operating systems
– Strong desktop support skills
– Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks
– Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
– Ability to troubleshoot software-related issues
– Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, Linux)
– Proficient in diagnosing hardware issues
