The Manager IT position purpose is to manage primarily one IT function. Responsible for development and management of their respective department budget. Acts as coach and mentor to direct reports; performs performance reviews

Preferred Candidate will have:

Three or more years of management experience directly managing/supervising 24×7 IT operations, infrastructure, system administrators, and DBAs
Experience ensuring high-availability and operational stability for Enterprise systems
Experience supporting, tuning, & configuring Oracle, SQL Server, Linux, and Windows servers
Experience managing multiple incidents & requests within ServiceNow and Jira
Experience managing vendor relationships and vendor resources

Qualifications:

High School and five to eight years combined experience in management of IT or equivalent experience. Bachelor s Degree preferred with 2-3 years of experience in management of IT or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

Leads a 24×7 IT operations staff to ensure applications & services are highly available, consistently responsive, and operationally stable.
Deployment & installation of software & patches in Production as well as lower environments.
Server & database tuning, optimization, maintenance, & rightsizing.
Monitoring and alerts for servers, databases, applications, batch jobs, & Cloud SaaS including development of healthcheck Bots.
Researching and swiftly resolving issues, incidents, & service requests in collaboration with Development teams.
