Mobile IV Nurse
Job Description
We have a client seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support in administering IV infusions.
Duties:
- Administer IV infusions accurately and safely
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy for any adverse reactions
- Maintain detailed medical documentation of patient care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education to patients and families on infusion therapy procedures
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results as needed
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner for patient charting
Qualifications:
- Experience in inpatient settings, particularly in infusion therapy
- Proficiency in medical documentation and charting
- Knowledge of IV infusion techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards
- Ability to perform infant care procedures if required
- Competency in suture removal and wound care
- Experience with laboratory testing processes
